Now there are a lot of mold suppliers in China and this makes you quite confusing and hard to choose one which you find good and suitable with your company. This is very common for anyone who wants to find a mold supplier in China.

Even though I have no a lot of experience, with hope to assist mold buyers, I am "ventured" to give some of my opinions about this topic (and look forward to hearing your ideas):

1. Supplier's location in China.

A supplier which is near to a port to delivery the products will help you save the cost for transportation. For example, QINGDAO JINSHANYUAN PRECISION MOULD is located in Qingdao, so it is very near to Qingdao port and the cost for transportation from our factory to the port is better than a company in an inland place.

2. Industries served.

If you are from an automotive components company, you may concern about a supplier which specializes in automotive components. Because this supplier will have experience in automobile industry, understand better what you really want...

3. Manufacturing company or trading company?

No need to say a lot about this, because it is quite clear that manufacturing company can offer you with a better price than a trading company, and they can manage the production much better.

4. Experience

I think this is very important for a buyer when choosing any supplier (not only with mold supplier). A supplier with 10 year experience in injection mold making will know how to serve you better and its internal system is better than a supplier with 2 year experience, at least with most of cases.

5. Services

- Commit to respond any of your request within a short time (12 hours or 24/7 hours)

- Treat your problems as they treat their ones.

- Offer report of mold producing process (weekly or monthly?)

- Global service? Do the company supply after sales services?

6. Factory

How large is the factory of the supplier?

How many machines does the supplier have? What’s type of them?

How many workers are working in that factory?

How many hours does the factory operate per day? One shift, two shifts or three shifts?

Maybe sometime you also concern about the salary of the workers in the factory.

How about other equipments and facilities in the factory?

....

7. Certificates

Which certificate does the supplier have? Such as, JSY PRECISION MOULD has: IOS9001 which shows that this supplier also concern about the quality of the production and their operation.

8. Capacity

How many molds does the supplier can produce per month? per year? From this, you can know that they can satisfy the quantity which you want or not?

9. Turnover

From the turnover in the current year or even some last years, you will know about the supplier's business result (good or not), then show you know this supplier is reliable or not?

10. Supplier's vision

This will help a buyer know that how does the supplier want to develop? What does the supplier want to be?... If they want to be one of the top ten mold supplier in China, they will have to try their best to serve you, offer you with the best price, the best products, the best services...
